Veg. Manchurian















Veg. Manchurian

Ingredients:

Finely chopped Veg:

3 tbspn cauliflower
3 tbspn carrot
3 tbspn cabbage
1 teaspn green chillies
2 tbspn Capsicum
3 tbspn garlic
3 tbspn ginger
2 tbspn spring on onion (leaves)
1 small cup finely sliced spring onion (only onions)
½ cup of Cornflour
3 cup of water
1 -2  tbspn Soya sauce
1 – 2 Chilli sauce
2 tbpsn vinegar
Pinch of Salt to taste
Oil to fry

Preparation:

Manchurian balls:

Mixed all the finely chopped vegetable very well.
Add green chilles 1 teaspn of ginger and garlic.
Add salt and cornflour make small balls of it.
Deep fry the balls on medium flame.
In ½  cup of hot water add1 teaspn of Soya sauce, ½ teaspn of chili sauce.
Pour it on the fried balls and let it soak for a while.

Gravy Preparation:
Heat oil in the vessel, add ginger and garlic on high flame and stir fry.
Add chopped and sliced spring onion and stir fry again
Add ½ teaspn of capsicum and cabbage.
Add Soya sauce,  chilli sauce, salt and vinegar
Add 3 cups of water and let it simmer.
Once the gravy is heated well add cornflour to the gravy ( Add cornflour to water and stir it well and add to gravy, Do not put cornflour directly in the gravy).
Keep on stirring the gravy until it thickens.
Add Manchurian balls to gravy and cover it fir 1 min.
Take it off the flame and serve it with rice.

Instant Pav Bhaji

















Ingredients:

2 Patotoes (diced)
1 cup cauliflower (diced)
1 cup tamotoes (diced)
2 small onion (diced).
1/2 cup capsicum and green pease
3 tbspn butter
1 tbspn pav bhaji masala
2 tablespoon Ginger garlic paste
salt to taste
1 teaspoon red chill powder and turmeric
2 - 3 tablespoon cchopped coriander
1- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
6 - 8 no.Pav
3 - 4 cups of water
100 gm Amul Butter

Preparation:

Heat the pressure cooker. Put ghee/butter into it add ginger garlic paste on medium flame.
Add Onions and stir fry it until its golden brown.
Addt cauliflower, gren peas, capsicum and stir fry it very well
Add tamotoes on top and stir it well with vegetables for almost 2 minutes on medium flame.
add turmeric , red chilli powder and Pav bhaji masala powder and stir it very well for another minute.
Add Lemon juice, salt and water.
Cover it with Pressure cooker's lid.
Put off the flame of the gas on the second whistle on high flame.
Once the cooker cools.. Grind and mix the bhaji with Hand mixer to give it fine texture.
Add coriander
But butter on the pan and grill the Pav on the medium flame.
Serve it hot with diced lemon, garlic chutney and finely chopped onions

Aloo Poha Tikki
















Ingredients:

  • 2 Potatoes boiled and smashed
  • 1 cup Soaked poha ( rice flakes)
  • 1 tbspn Ginger garlic paste
  • 2 green chillies finely chopped.
  • 1 cup rice flour to bind
  • 4 tbspn Rice flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to fry

Preparation:

Bind all the ingedients together with rice flour.
Make small round pattice of it.
cover it with raw rice flakes and deep fry it until golden brown on medium flame.
Serve it hot with Tomatoe sauce and  mint chutney.

Veg. Jain Burger















Ingedients:

  • 2 boiled bananas and smashed (raw)
  • green pease boiled and smashed
  • 2 tbspn chopped cabbage
  • 2 tbspn chopped capsicum
  • 2 tbspn chopped fenugreek
  • 1 tbspm chopped palak
  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 2 tbpsn Green coriander finely choppes
  • 2 chilly finely chopped
  • pinch of turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspn Red chilly powder
  • pinch of garam masala powder
  • Salt to taste
Salad:
  • Iceberg lettuce
  • Tomatoe
  • Shredded Cabbage
  • Eglesss Mayonese
  • Cheese slice
  • Tamotoe sauce
Binding and frying:
  • 1/4 cup Gram flour
  • 1/4 cup Wheat flour
  • 2 brown burger bread
  • Oil to Fry
Preparation:

  • Mix all the ingredients very well add coriander, chilli powder, garam masala and turmeric powder and salt.
  • Bind it with gram and wheat flour.
  • Make small tikkis and shallow fry it on medium flame.
  • Remove it off the flame let it cool down.
  • Grill the burger bread from both the sides.
  • Apply mayonese on both slicesa dd lettuce tamotoe and cabbage.
  • Place cheese slice add sauce on top of it.
  • Add tikki on top of the sauce
  • Repeat the previous procedure and put the other slice to close the burger
